Il Potere Di Adesso

This is a revamp of a previous blog which i wrote nearly 2 years ago. I'm hoping this is less self centered, more to the point and more effective for you guys, ready to be translated into Italian. Enjoy :)


There are times in life when you experience something indescribably amazing....... and then usually unexpectedly this feeling is followed by an indescribable amount of emotional pain, which lasts for a very very long time.

But, usually, it’s at this time, when you feel like no one or nothing can lift you back up again, when all is lost, when you are in your deepest, darkest hole that something miraculous happens. A moment of pure magic that forces you back on your feet and makes you realise that, actually life is on your side. It is trying to show you the light, and give you the inspiration you need for self healing to commence again. It’s the good overcoming the evil. It’s the balancing-out in the equation of life. When you spot this little bit of light, it’s then that it’s possible to see your mistake. That the pain that you suffered was in fact, entirely self-created.

The Science
It has been scientifically proven,  that the feeling of sadness in the human brain only lasts around 3 seconds. Who else but our selves can be responsible for prolonging this feeling? Only us. And now I will explain to you how we implement such a destructive way of living upon ourselves.
Because of the negative way we use our mind. It is such a powerful tool, but it is really being used for the wrong reasons. It’s because of this way of thinking that the following happens:

  • Every morning we wake up and remind ourselves of the memories that we suffered from before therefore making our bodies re-live the same negative emotions every day.
  • We become trapped in the past, not being aware that we are alive now, and therefore not really living.
  • We imagine and create situations in the head about what we think might happen, therefore becoming stuck in future.
  • We are unhappy because we don’t get what we want. But what we fail to realise is, what we want is something that the mind has created a vision of, and not necessarily what we truly want.
  • We are convinced  happiness and peace is something found in external things, objects and even in other people. This is just to fill that hole inside, that again the mind, has labelled 'unhappiness'.

In fact, the mind is an expert at labelling things. Actually, it has a lot to answer for.

What can we do to escape the inevitable downfall of negative thinking?

Step 1

Just like a radio, we can tune out all the noisy negative thoughts from our brainwaves. When this happens, the past and the future suddenly cease to exist. We are left with only 2 things, ourselves in a pure form without misconceptions that are self-created and the present moment. And if we completely surrender to this present moment we can find real peace. That’s the first step. But how do we switch off the noise in our brain? A lot of us find this mission impossible. But the answer is simple. We must do what we love the most. Always. When we do what we love we become drawn to the present moment like a magnet. All of our so called ‘problems and worries’ fade away.

Step 2

It is in this peace where we can realize negative emotion can’t possibly exist. Not when you reach that level of consciousness. The mind created it all.  You have taken the second step without realizing it. You are now not part of your thoughts, but instead you are looking at your own thoughts from an outsiders perspective. It’s from this perspective that you can see how damaging you have been to yourself. And it’s from this position that you can stop the pain being self-inflicted.

Step 3

The 3rd step consists of remaining in that state constantly throughout your life.. With practice, patience and time you can achieve this goal.

How this has effected the world.

  • We have been living our lives soley based on our thoughts for a very long time now that we have forgotten how to live with our hearts. We have forgotten how to listen to our instincts to help us make the right decisions in life.
  • The mind is also responsible for creating diseases, mentally such as paranoia and depression, and physically because of the negative thoughts sending the wrong chemicals to the body and not making it function properly. 
  •  War. Mass Killing. Self Harming. Suicide. Family breakups. Relationship breakups. Loneliness. All created by one main element. Fear. Fear is a state of mind. It derives from negative thinking. If we realise this then so many lives can be saved.


Fear can be eliminated. Unhappiness eradicated. In one moment, see if it is possible to not think of something that has happened in the past, or wonder what will happen in the future, even what will happen in the next 5 minutes. What’s in this moment, this exact moment, that is beautiful?  How is your body feeling in this moment? Look around you, what is beautiful? What is the best thing in this moment for you right now?.......................

.......................... Oh look, I just made your past and future disappear for a second.....
How free did you feel just then?  THAT is the Power of Now.

If you want to find peace, lasting love and happiness, and then inspire others to do the same, first and most importantly, love yourself. Find peace inside of you. Save yourself first and then be the change you wish to see in the world. Switch of the noise in your brain. And surrender to the present moment. It is a present after all J
